"We had a great experience visiting the Missouri State Capitol. You can either book a free guided tour in advance or explore on your own. Both options are completely free! We went on a Saturday morning in June right when it opened, and surprisingly, we were the only ones there.

There are some free parking spots right in front, which made things super convenient. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes because there are four floors to explore, including a full museum on the first floor with exhibits covering Missouri’s rich history, government, and culture.
