What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the scenic beauty of the Jamestown Island Drive, highlighting the abundant wildlife and peaceful atmosphere. The free Jamestown-Scotland Ferry is a popular bonus. Some wish for more detailed historical information at certain sites, and occasional windiness can be a factor.
"Love this ride as part of the Capital Trail and have ridden around the loop many times...Lots of wildlife! The cafe at the Visitors Center has great food!"
Cindi Courter
"It was very very interesting and I am a history buff. Some of the old foundations had markers with information and others did not. I wish I could have learned more. The Old Towne was blocked off and would have to pay an additional fee to see. The path was clear and it was very pretty. The bridge that goes over the marsh was the best as you could look down and see turtles all over doing there thing as if you weren't there."
rickie wooten
"I highly suggest that everyone go outside and explore. It was pretty windy when I was there, I’m not sure if it’s always like that. Just a heads up. The Park Ranger will provide a map of the path and monuments."
