"I meaaaaaan....yeah it's technically a shipwreck and you can maneuver to get some pretty sweet photos, especially post editing. I will say though that I would not drive here just for this. If you're coming to Cypress Tree Tunnel, Pt Reyes hikes, the lighthouse, and other surrounding attractions; sure it's worth a quick stop.
Be kind and visit some local shops and grab a snack and a drink at the convenience store because their parking lot is the best parking for this. Also they have giant cookies there!
I feel like it's not quite a tourist trap, but not quite a tourist attraction either. I will say my out of town guest enjoyed it much more than I did and tried to hop onto the lil islet to get up close for photos. There was a lil more water and mud than he bargained for, so that didn't happen, but I did get a fun shot for him.
Super cute town tho! Would definitely go back to eat at the spot across the street (only open for lunch on weekends) and see a few other things in the area again."

"Well worth a visit as it's barely a detour on your way to the seashore. The ship is interesting to look at, and is deteriorating quite rapidly.
Check the tides so you can get close. It's a short 2 minute walk from the parking area behind the general store. There are also picnic benches close by."

"An easy to access fun place to stop. We were there at low tide but it looks like the water comes all the way up to the boat at high tide. The boat is getting pretty decayed I wonder how many more years it will last 🤔"
