Whether you’re into fishing (from rocks, piers, or shore), paddling a kayak or paddleboard, or launching a pontoon or jet ski, there’s something for every aquatic appetite. "Nice little park on the water. Big playground, restrooms, fishing piers, boat launch, picnic tables. Dogs allowed on a leash. Nice place to spend some time!"

"Bowen is definitely a very overly fished lake, but if you're looking to get out on the lake, or chance the low odds of catching a fish, bowen is a nice place. Not the biggest lake, but you get go wide open on a 115 outboard or 190 inboard/outboard for a good few minutes. There is a nice little park for kids, and some open areas you can fish from the shoreline. They do provide restrooms to the public, and you've got a couple nearby restaurants to dine at when you've finished your time outdoors. No complaints about the place, just behave yourself and don't do anything that might catch you a visit from the warden, they wont tolerate people on the property or the lake breaking the law."
