"We had a truly lovely Sunday afternoon at the Virginia Fairbanks Art & Nature Park. I was initially worried about parking, but it turned out to be surprisingly easy with plenty of spots available. Since we had our dogs with us, we stuck to the 1.4-mile loop trail around the lake. It was perfect for them! The path itself is a mix of crushed gravel and packed dirt, winding through both open meadows and peaceful wooded areas. Along the way, we really enjoyed the beautiful plantings and the interesting artwork accompanied by helpful information placards. Just a heads-up: the path narrows considerably where it runs between the lake and the river, so be aware of your surroundings, especially if it's busy or you have pets. Overall, it was a fantastic, fun walk and a wonderful way to spend the afternoon."

"This is such a wonderful and beautiful place to visit. The nature part of the park is worth it by itself to visit, but then you add in all the great and unique artwork and sculpture as here, and it's all free to enjoy. The trail along the lake is a great way to get some exercise and enjoy nature. There is quite a few sculptures around the park, so try finding them all."
