"So many trails to explore. Visit the Holy City & climb the Heart Rock . The view was amazing from the heart rock . Forgot the name of the waterfall but that was fun to climb up and see it. Buffaloes were hardly out when we went . Seen about 2 roam freely. Bring plenty of water during the hot days & no cell phone service most of the time . Try to catch a lizard 😆good luck"

"Fantastic place, with nearly 40,000 acres of land general open to the public, including an officially designated wilderness area at the west end. Because you have a mix of ecotones — the mountains do rise 1,000 feet or more above the prairie floor, the mixed-grass prairie fading into shortgrass and more, you get a variety of flora and fauna."
