What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Waterfall Park is generally praised for its beautiful waterfall and scenic walking trails, offering a peaceful escape. Visitors enjoy the opportunity to spot wildlife like turtles and appreciate the convenience of nearby amenities. However, some reviews note concerns about restroom cleanliness and occasional maintenance issues.
"Trails are there... bathrooms always gross but now the dock has washed away and no one looks like they are in any hurry to fix it. Bass pro makes enough you think the could use the write off and fix it. But they pay enough taxes the city could fork over some of it... def was a good park that's failing and the city is overlooking it."
Anthony Preston
"It's a beautiful park with a nice waterfall. The trail around the lake is exactly 1 mile, so it's easy to figure how far you walked.
There are commemorative benches all along the path if you want a break, or just look at the view.
Good shopping nearby at Basa Pro, Mardel, Duluth Trading Company and Hobby Lobby."
Scott Maxey
"Great place for walking, outdoor parties with shelter & lots of shade from tree's, fishing, walking your dog, restroom, watching every size turtle sun themselves on tree limbs in the ponds, also a small deck that overlooks the lake. I found a baby turtle that was 1 1/2 inches. That's a first for me. It was basking in the sunshine on the walking path, a playground, benches here and there along the walking paths, a place where you have 4 bridge rails along the path to choose a place to put a lock of love of you & your beloved, one is where the waterfall is. Just check it out, you'll be happy you did! 😀"
