I'm glad it happened that way because if it hadn't, I wouldn't have known about this charming old battery. The forest was lush and green and looked like a fairy land. I would totally revisit this place. We went into the battery to look around. It was pretty cold inside, as well as dark and echoey, but very intriguing."

"Where do I start? First of this is short hike .25 miles but it’s quite steep since it’s all uphill but that being said it’s so worth it. You get to see these old buildings and beautiful views as you hike up. Make sure to get to the very top because there is one really neat spot with the best view that makes you feel like you’re on top of the world. That view was breathtaking. So glad I checked it out."
