It's soo beautiful down at the water and there are picnic tables and garbage cans. Just be aware that it is a bit of a hike back up the hill and to plan your time accordingly as the rangers can fine you if you stay past close."

"I don't recommend motoring your sailboat in a crazy thunderstorm, getting knocked down under bare poles, and sitting on the up-turned hull until the wind and tide blow you close to shore, but if it does happen to you, Bard Rock is a beautiful setting for such an occasion.
