"Upon driving down Bowden Road (a.k.a. Demon's Road), nothing seemed quite out of the ordinary. It actually wasn't really that scary as the rumors make it out to be. There's alot of farmland and cows and it was quite pretty. When we got to Martha Chapel Cemetary, things started to change. At first it was just a normal old Cemetary with damaged headstones and stuff. I will mention, however, that it was eerily quiet, but peaceful as well, as my wife and I were the only ones there. When we got to the newer part of the Cemetary, I started hearing noises coming from the trees, that sounded like footsteps, my wife didn't hear it at first, but then it started getting closer and louder, like it was something big. All of a sudden we both heard a loud guttural growl, and my wife and I both ran as fast as we could back to the car. We're not sure what it was, but it sounded like an animal; it definitely was not human-like. Whatever it was, we were unable to see it. The scary part is, there's another review on TripAdvisor with a similar instance about a growl heard in the newer part of the Cemetary as well, but the review is from 3 years ago. I don't believe in demons or ghosts, but I will say I probably would not go here at night or alone."
