What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Huntington Central Library for its stunning architecture, serene atmosphere, and abundant free services. Many highlight the helpful staff, the engaging children's section, and unique resources like the Seed Library. Some concerns have been raised about community efforts to keep the library public.
"I was amazed at all the services and resources that were provided FOR FREE by this awesome PUBLIC Library! I was able to get a free card good for 90 days while I was visiting the area, was taught to use an embroidery machine and created a patch, AND found great books with the help from the TRAINED and EDUCATED librarians. Come to find out, some uneducated and power hungry people in the community are trying to PRIVATIZE ?????? For what purpose really???? Personal gain and personal agendas. I love this award winning library and I'm only a visitor!!!! Keep it PUBLIC, like it should be!!!!!"

"Quite a nice library! Very cool achetecture and design, with calming fountains across the lower levels, indoor plants and trees that complement the outdoor vegetation visible through the huge windows. A great place to read a book, study or do some work while relaxing and enjoying the nature! You can also grab a snack, work on computers, rent books and check out seeds for your garden! Many more things to do in this library! :)"
