"This park has to be one of the most beautiful in Houston! It’s wonderful for walks, picnics and photo shoots. It’s so lush and has a walkway, a dock and seating overlooking this beautiful pond full of turtles and fish. It is so peaceful and sunsets are stunning here. They also have an area with picnic tables, food trucks and string patio lighting that set the mood. Highly recommend!"

"This place has become a great place for me to unwind and slow my mind. It is on the 3 mile running trail so it can get crowded on the weekends but still good place. Many small little features that are great. The parking lot is 2 bucks for 3 hours. Super cheap and I'm sure the money helps maintain the park so totally worth it.
Favorite time for me is during the week during the day. Its pretty empty and quiet. Enjoy walking barefoot on the grass in the middle. Only place I feel comfortable doing that. They are adding more to the park but The Glades are a great starting point to do the trail. The 3 mile is about a 50-60 mt walk at a steady pace. If you walk the two land bridges you can add another 20-30 minutes to your hike."

"A nice park for picnics, gatherings, sun-tanning on greens, or a leisurely stroll along its paved path/ easy trails. Well designed, lots to see (lake, wetland, snaps and more). Parking is not free ($2 for 3 hours). Public restrooms on both ends of parking lot, and refreshment trucks available (during weekend)."
