What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the relaxing and therapeutic qualities of hot springs, highlighting the natural beauty and the rejuvenating mineral waters. Many enjoy the unique settings, from rustic forest soaks to historic bathhouses. While most experiences are positive, some guests note that check-in processes can sometimes feel unwelcoming, and hurricane damage has impacted some river views.
"I rented three campsites over the Labor Day weekend for my family and friends. We had a wonderful time walking around the campground, making nightly fires, and enjoying the cooler evenings and nighttime sky. It was perfect. Along the French Broad River in the sweet little town of Hot Springs, it made for a memorable time for us all. Laid back with restroom and shower facilities. I highly recommend."
Marion Griffin
"We had a wonderful time here! We did the hot springs hour soak and it was so nice! The water is a continuous flow from deep in the earth. It was very relaxing, and the fire pit was a nice touch. Also my son and i stayed in one of the cute, rustic cabins while the rest of our group (large group of hikers, dads and sons) camped out under the stars. It’s a beautiful place and we slept like babies. The cabin is small but has everything you need for a great nights rest. The bed was super comfortable. Would definitely recommend."
Angela Rogers
"We visited the mineral baths, but did not stay at the resort. They have spent a lot of effort rebuilding after hurricane Helene and everything looks great. We enjoyed the mineral bath and did not have any issues with our visit. We rented a deluxe tub and found it to be very private. The area was clean and well kept. It was also very quiet. No issues, we will be back some time."
