"While the Taste of Hoover is only held once a year it is an opportunity to try over 40 local businesses all in one place. With that being said what better location than Alderidge Gardens to hold this event. Since there is limited parking there are frequent shuttles between the shopping center parking lot with Trader Joes and Alderidge Gardens. There is live music and plenty of food and drinks with seating all around. I look forward to next year to see what local businesses will be participating in the 2026 Taste of Hoover."

There are plenty of picnic tables and a smaller trail for children that includes a fairy garden. This gem is definitely worth adding to your bucket list."

The half mile trip around the lake well worth it, unless very wet usually can stay dry going around. Free to get in. Restrooms not far away to the left as you go a little past the first sculpture garden. Often there is a rainbow effect to their fountain spray"
