What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve is a stunning natural gem with beautiful waterfalls and river views, highly praised for its serene atmosphere. However, the primary drawback is the lack of on-site parking, requiring a significant hike to access the preserve, and the need for water shoes for creek crossings.
"WARNING: Love this beautiful nature preserve! One big downfall, NO PARKING... had to walk around 3 miles from House Rock on a trail to get here, lots of ups and downs... then had to walk back to house rock. Didn't know this until I got here...also bring watershoes to cross the creeks, the stones are unforgiving on bare feet."

"The parking is closed off so i had to park at the pinnacle overlook and hike the train tracks down to the trail. It's worth the extra hiking!! This place is gorgeous especially after a hard rain on a hot day. The creek you follow has a couple mini waterfalls and if you get there from the train tracks the trail eventually splits off into 2 or 3 other trails."

"Tucquan Glen has a lovely trail as well as a swimming area. The downside to the day we went was that the parking area was closed. The road surrounding the trail is not meant to be worked on, and you can be towed or fined. Once you get on to the trail, it’s pretty straight forward how to get to the mini waterfall/swimming area. There are multiple hiking trails as well as swimming areas. We went to a mini waterfall and had a wonderful time, I recommend going to that area to swim! That area is very quiet. There is a small bridge connecting one side of the waterfall to the other side of the stream. Definitely kid friendly & an overall nice place to get away."
