"I live next to 1055 Hollywood Blvd. On Friday, Oct 3, the property was rented for a large event with approximately 100 people in the backyard and music playing at unreasonably high volume until 1:30 AM, despite multiple neighbor requests to stop. We called the police; the disturbance continued. The same level of disturbance occurred again the following night.
This behavior creates a significant public-safety and welfare issue (noise, overcrowding, potential parking and fire hazards) and is a repeated nuisance to neighbors and families in the area. We have documented the events (date/time, photos/video, witness statements) and will be forwarding documentation to local code enforcement, the county’s permitting/licensing office, and the police department. Neighbors will also consult about civil remedies for ongoing nuisance and any property/safety damages.
Owner/manager: if you value being permitted to rent this property, immediately cease large, unsupervised party rentals or implement and verify strict controls — occupancy limits, event permits, security, noise mitigation, and a 11 PM quiet-hour policy at minimum. Failure to do so will result in formal complaints and requests to revoke any event permits or rental listings. This is not acceptable for a residential neighborhood."
