"My family has been a part of this parish for about 100 years. My grand parents attended Our Lady of Grace school as well as my father, uncle, myself and my six brothers and sisters. My grandmother and parents were heavily involved in preventing the church from falling apart when it was in need of great repair. Hence, donating alot of monies and their time and effort.
On Thursday (09/07/23), we sadly said goodbye to my brother and celebrated his life there. Father Phillip gave a great sermon and was very accommodating, even promising that we could park at the church parking lot while we attended my brothers repass at Leo's Restaurant , a few blocks away. If your not aware,, parking is horrible in Hoboken, and we were very relieved to hear this.
Soon after mass was over, my husband approached Pastor Andrew to verify that it was ok to park in the churches lot, the Pastor was very short and kurt, he informed my husband that we couldn't park in the lot and insisted we move our vehicles immediately, of course we did what was asked of us. Meanwhile, as we vacated the lot in our automobiles, the organist, gave us ugly scowling stares in the parking lot.
I and my family where highly disappointed and insulted. Needless to say, it took us 45 minutes to park elsewhere in the city. Not nice, considering it cost us 500.00 for a 45 minute service.

"Our Lady of Grace brought me back into the faith. I am beyond grateful I experienced many Sundays here with my parents for a couple of years. My dad so appreciated Fr Alex. When my dad passed away in August 2024, it felt comforting to have his funeral Mass here. It was reverent and brought peace to my family, with special thanks to Fr Phil. OLG welcomes and loves all. It will remain one of my favorite churches."

"I called the church to ask if I could get some holy blessed water as I am going through something and the only way to get holy water is from the holy church . They told me they are selling a bottle of holy water and u have to purchase it. It is sin to sell holy water ."
