Brasstown Bald, known to the Cherokee as Enotah. While the meaning of the word “Enotah” is debated between “bald” or “bare” and “a place of fresh green”, many would agree they both apply to this beautiful mountain summit overlook. "This is such a great 1/2 day place to visit. You can either hike up from the parking lot (less than a mile but pretty steep) or take the shuttle bus which runs continuously.
