"Great experience! Did this portion of the Appalachian Trail with my dog on a Friday. It was pretty rocky and has some large step ups and down, but I saw all age groups represented on the trail except kids. You should be auto handle a few flights of stairs do this trail. I passed 6 people going the other way. I didn’t see any bears or snakes. Took about an hour and 15 minutes."

Joanna Pahlow

"This is a great spot to experience the trail, just get there early to get one of the limited parking spots. A good climb at first until you get to the camping area."
