"We love coming here! My kids really like to see the old train cave. This place is always beautiful. Both paths are nice but my kids definitely prefer the unpaved one. There’s a little path to the water that we like to explore. My kids really enjoy hanging out on the little rocky beach area. We always find some really neat fossils and rocks."

"Gorgeous park! Pet friendly, although not all trails. Relatively few people, not too crowded on a hot Saturday. Many people kayaking in the river. We also saw families on bikes.
They have restrooms (bring your own sanitizer!) near the parking lot.
Will come back"
Varvara Alderman
"My family had a wonderful time hiking, climbing, exploring and taking a ton of pictures. The main trail is patched. The side trails all have a detailed map at the beginning of every trail head and they also have trail markers on the trees so you don't get lost. Overall, it is a safe and beautiful place to take the family hiking. There are also quite a bit of history markers along the main trail. Definitely recommend!"
