What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the knowledgeable guides, often dressed in period attire, who bring Molly Brown's life story to vivid detail. The low admission price of $5 is a significant draw, offering excellent value. Some find the tours quite lengthy, covering her entire life rather than focusing solely on her Titanic fame, which may not suit all interests.
"Positives are the museum guide was very knowledgeable and dressed in period clothes. I was really only interested in Molly Brown. Not so much her early family i.e. siblings, mom, dad, as well as their positions or jobs in the community. The guide went on in length about each aspect of her life that was discussed. We finally had to leave and I never did get to the point my questions could be answered of her later life which I was most interested in. Tour is long and you should commit a lot of time to complete if you want it all."

"The Molly Brown birthplace museum is her original home and currently owned by the city of Hannibal. This place is a jewel in disguise and I hope the city council realizes it. Our tour guide was fantastic knowing all aspects of her life on the Titanic and as a child growing up this is a must-see on your adventure to Hannibal Missouri not just Mark Twain but Molly Brown. Her home is very small two stories and admission is only $5."
