What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Waipa Farmers Market for its fresh produce, delicious prepared foods, and unique local crafts. The friendly atmosphere and opportunity to support local vendors are frequently highlighted. Some note that produce can be less abundant than other items, but the overall experience is highly positive.
"Nice farm market with fresh produce and locally crafted products. Besides produce we found clothing, prepared foods, jewelry and health related teas. We purchased a pomelo and put it in the refrigerator to have it cold as they suggested. It reminds me of a grapefruit but sweeter and less tart, so no sugar needed. Looking forward to eating this beauty. Enjoy your finds whatever they may be."

"This farmer’s market was easy to access and had plenty of parking. There were nice craft vendors and food vendors. The fruits and vegetables vendors were actually in the minority though. So consider that if that’s why you’re going. I was pleased to meet the operator of For Goodness Cakes because she was super friendly and had gluten free baked goods and cold brew coffee. Perfect stop for me on a Tuesday afternoon."
Tiffany Kim
"Very cute farmers market with ~20 stands ranging from local tropical fruit, jewelry, pottery, veggies etc. We got lots of different fruits (some that we haven’t tried before) — cream apple, sweet sop, soursop, Chico, guava, papaya, apple bananas, mangosteen."
