What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lake Lenape Park for its beautiful waterfront, excellent camping, and opportunities for outdoor activities like kayaking and fishing. The park is noted for its scenic sunrises and sunsets, and its dog-friendly policy is a plus. While generally well-maintained with accommodating facilities, some have found the playground area lacking for very young children.
"Great camping, grilling and fishing here. Wonderful being near the lake and watching the sunrise and sunsets. Good place to go for all ages and outings. There was no problem having my Service Dog. The restrooms/showers are accommodating for those of us who are persons with disabilities. We're happy we selected here!!!"

"It's been a while since I've been to this park. The renovations are wonderful and very comfortable. Happy to see the efforts preserving this place. It's an oldie but a goodie. I did find the playground very interesting. Unless I'm missing something it's just a workout area with a rock wall. I didn't see an area for toddlers or small children."

"This place is absolutely beautiful!
There is a security/officer? patrolling the park. Which in a way is good because he wants to make sure the park is kept clean.
At night the park is gated close.
I believe you can celebrate an event here ( you have to go to their website for more info) because we came in and saw tables and tents. I think it was a wedding.
Come and explore for your self.
Dogs are welcome!"
