"We’ve finally saw the Pipeline and we weren’t disappointed. In December, the waves picked up quite a bit and it’s not for faint of hearts. We witnessed a couple of great rides by some good surfers. The waves were actually a lot higher than the pictures shown and the pipe was quite long. Very exciting to watch surfers here in the winter time."
Big Fish Dive Club
"The absolute Mecca and challenge to surfing excellence. There is a reason the world championships are held here and people come from every surfing spot in the world to test their skills. The place instills an incredible sense of awe and the ground shakes below your feet and you hear the thunder of the waves you have surfers even on moderate days telling onlookers not to go into even knee-high surf. The place is incredible and absolutely awesome inspiring"
Mack “Mushrooms_r_Us” Clausen
"Big waves, great surfers, a beautiful sunset, this is definitely an iconic spot. We got lucky considering we were here for less than two hours, but I did check the wave height before we drove out and saw it was 12-16 feet. Definitely a magical place. I just tried not to get in the way of the camera guys, left the locals alone and just enjoy the show. Everyone was nice enough, there were lots of families and friendly dogs running around enjoying themselves."
