What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise Hunt Club Park and Aquatic Center for its family-friendly amenities, including a dedicated family changing room and attentive lifeguards. The variety of water slides appeals to all ages, and the rain check policy is a welcome feature. However, some guests are disappointed by the frequent closure of the deep end and the non-operational outdoor splash pad.
"We had a great weekend visit. The facilities are clean and there are lots of lifeguards stationed. Best of all there is a FAMILY changing room for those families with children of both genders who aren’t comfortable sending children into the other locker room without an adult! As a mom with a son I appreciate this option.
I felt very safe when I observed how thoroughly each lifeguard scans the water at their post. There are water slides for all ages and heights. The 2 slides in the wading area are great for toddlers and the large slides are so much fun for kids and adults. Their weather policy is nice, we got stormed out an hour into our visit. They closed the facility and we got our receipts stamped for rain tickets to come back any other day of the season they are open. The locker rooms have showers, toilets, changing stalls with curtains, sinks and baby changing stations. You can bring your own lock if your want to lock your belongings in a locker, or if you don’t have a lock you can just pick a locker. They sell swim diapers if you need extra. Bags will be checked at the gate when you arrive. There are lots of life jackets of all sizes available. There is also a cafe to order food and drinks from.
It can get crowded on the weekend. We went on a hot sunny Saturday and it was PACKED. The Deep end was closed due to poor visibility for the lifeguards and lines for the waterslides took a while. The next day was overcast and not crowded.
I do wish there was a more affordable option for a family season pass so we could enjoy this awesome facility all summer long!"

"Was a little skeptical as there were some mixed reviews. Our granddaughters are having a blast! It's not too crowded and there is plenty of variety for the different age groups. I tried to find it if you could bring in your own food as I know at some you can't but there was nothing. You can bring your own food they just want you to eat at the picnic tables... Very fair. It's clean, life guards are doing a good job keeping everyone safe. We would definitely come again."

"Like everything the price of admittance is up yet the facilities is less maintained and looking worn. The outside splash pad hasn't been up and running for yrs now. Every time I've gone there they have the deep end closed or close it while I'm there. Last time we got there at 12:00 when they opened and they closed it the second a cloud rolled in saying low visibility being the reason. On the brightest of days you can't see the bottom of the deep end. Then they herd everyone like cattle to the rest of the pool where you're left standing sardined in there with everyone else. I don't recommend this pool and spending your hard earned money on a pool facility that's clearly not properly maintained and where they shut down the deep end every time a cloud goes by. They don't reopen either. They keep it closed the rest of the day."
