What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Green River Covered Bridge for its picturesque beauty, historic charm, and refreshing swimming opportunities, especially behind the dam. While some note occasional litter, the scenic drive and peaceful atmosphere make it a worthwhile stop for a picnic or a dip in the river.
"Went camping in the area and this was a highly recommended place to swim. There were little fish swimming all around and the view is gorgeous. You can swim behind the waterfall on the dam which is pretty cool. There was a bit of trash down there which we took out with us but what a bummer. We went on a Saturday with passing showers and only saw a group or two of others. Would definitely come back with friends for a swim."
