What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Timmons Park is highly praised for its excellent disc golf course and lively pickleball courts, offering free outdoor recreation for all. Visitors appreciate the recent renovations and the park's natural beauty, especially in the fall. Some minor drawbacks include occasional parking difficulties and limited directional signage on the disc golf course.
"Fun park! I use it for its disc golf course. 18 holes, with lots of different shot shapes. Parking can sometimes be an issue with baseball and pickle ball happening."
Todd C
"Timmons Park is a great place to golf and 18 hole intermediate to advance course. There are a few holes that you have to be pretty straight and narrow. The walk is beautiful and really fun to play. The only comments I really have about it is there are a couple holes near some sewage pipes but you only smell an odor for a short period. It's tolerable. Also, if you are new to the course, there aren't any, minus one, directional signs that point you in the correct direction so you don't end up missing hole 12 entirely. 😅 There are centrally located bathrooms, a nice park, tennis courts, and a baseball field from what I saw. Highly recommend visit during fall!"
Kitty Struxness
"Fun disc golf course with moderate difficulty. Lots of pickleball courts and a baseball field. Play area for children. New renovations including new tee pads on the disc golf course and stairs to better navigate the terrain. Next, they need to expand the parking, as it is difficult to find parking when the park is busy."
