Visitors rave about Gateway Gardens as a charming, peaceful, and free roadside stop. It's praised for its beautiful 11-acre collection of plants, flowers, and intriguing sculptures, making it a delightful place for a short walk or a family picnic. "Great roadside stop with charm and comfort, worth a visit! I loved this place and everything it had to offer. It’s a free, peaceful roadside stop, perfect for stretching your legs, using clean bathrooms, and taking a short walk through a cute garden. The walk itself probably takes about 20–30 minutes, but I stopped to take photos and ended up chatting with other visitors, so I spent close to an hour there. There are lots of quirky objects and displays scattered throughout the garden, which made it even more enjoyable. I went on a weekend and it wasn’t crowded at all, just a lovely, relaxing break."

"The Gardens has an amazing collection of trees , plants and flowers in just 11 acres. Paved paths make it easy to walk through the various themed areas.
Numerous metal sculptures, some with water effects provide additional interest. It was sad to see many specimen trees going into shock due to lack of water. Makes no sense."
