"We take the dog here almost weekly for a walk around the pond. Many of the plants are labeled and there is a lot of birds, dragonflies, and butterflies. Very peaceful."

"Historic, managed wildlife area with great views of the Santa Rita mountain range, used by lots of people looking to enjoy nature, exercise, dog walking, and a great birdwatching destination. The lake and managed estuary/cienega is a great asset to residents and visitors."

"I almost don't want to post because in some ways it is still a hidden gem. This ranch is attached to a beautiful man made lake with a gorgeous mountain view. The bird watching is wonderful. There's plenty of seating and signs for any first timers. I most recently attended a Christmas event complete with a food truck, carolers, Santa, and light display. I recommend both the planned Pims County events and just heading out on your own with nothing to do. Both will be magical experiences and I promise you'll leave with plans to come back!"
