What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium for its vibrant free summer concert series and the enchanting musical fountain shows. The beautiful waterfront location enhances the experience, making it a beloved community gathering spot. However, some find the seating arrangements less than ideal and food vendors to be pricey.
"Jeep Fest weekend. The band is awesome! It may be chilly out but they are really heating up the stage with some great tunes. Grey skies~ great music🩶🎶"

"Great view, but not the best seating. Bring your own chairs.
You can see and hear the musical fountain from here every night from Memorial Day to Labor Day as well as Fridays and Saturdays in May and September. Tune into 88.7 FM for the music. Getting pictures can be difficult, but it is still amazing to see.
There are lots of food and ice cream vendors around, but they are not cheap or high quality, but often good enough or even great. They are offering convenience and often have very long lines. You’ll have to decide if it is worth it.
It is a very gradual slope so seeing over the people ahead is a bit challenging if the event is in the water. If it is in the air or the musical fountain area, you should be fine.
We visited during the 100th Coast Guard Festival (2024) and the Fourth of July Fireworks (pictures taken from Escanaba Memorial Park of the Waterfront Stadium). We have also visited numerous other times."

"I’m wondering how to submit a claim for a refund. I’m listening to the 80s music concert on 7/25/2025 and out of the 13 songs played so far only one has been from the 80s. Mostly 1976 and earlier. I think the band didn’t understand the assignment or the booking agent didn’t understand the band. Sad.
Ok, after the absurdly long break, there was a renewed understanding of the assignment. They played a prolonged all 80s medley. Not a bad selection at all. Bumped it up a star."
