Visitors consistently praise Veterans Memorial Park for its beautiful, peaceful, and honoring atmosphere. The interactive technology, well-maintained grounds, and respectful design are frequently highlighted as positive aspects. While the park is primarily a place for solemn remembrance, its adjacent natural areas offer a pleasant space for relaxation and wildlife observation, making it a well-rounded community asset.
"This veterans memorial park is beautiful, has a peaceful and honoring energy, has a nice technological touch with a large touch screen that shows you the names on the walk of honor, donors, the granite and wooden benches. Names are searchable. The pillars of the various branches of the military are towering, graceful, and statuesque. The park has well kept grass, nicely kept grounds, a litter free walking path to honor those who served and sacrificed, and it leads to another park with a paved walk that you can enjoy with bunnies 🐰 squirrels 🐿 and crows 🦅. I found the benches and picnic tables to be well kept and inviting to enjoy friends and family while thanking those who served with the Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard. Another amazing perk is the very clean and modern bathroom inside the building that contains the flatscreen of names. There’s also a display and interactive part for letters by community members and some historical pictures relevant to Grand Forks, ND. This is my favorite park in Grand Forks. So many things one can do while here and especially to appreciate and reflect on all the brave and selfless souls. Thank you to all those who made this happen."

"I tour as many Veterans Memorials as possible. I take my children with me so they can observe the sacrifice of the men and women from our country. There was something special about this memorial I cannot put my finger on but, it was stirring. I'm an Iraq war veteran so, these things mean a lot to me (as they do for many others) You did an incredible job , Grand Forks. Thank you 🦅"
