Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Hood County Jail and Historical Museum for its rich historical content and the passionate, knowledgeable docents who bring the past to life. The preserved jail cells and sheriff's quarters offer a unique glimpse into local law enforcement history. However, a few reviews mention instances of rude front desk staff, which can detract from the overall experience.

"Make sure they’re open beforehand. Tried going Saturday around 3, they were closed even though the sign said they closed at 4. Then tried to go today (10/19 Sunday) at 1:30 and they were still closed. We had a big family trip and we wanted to see this (and the Yeats-Duke (also closed w/ same hours btw) but nothing. Tried to call in the parking lot and got immediately sent to voicemail. Please change your hours or include holiday hours if there were events. Would’ve been really cool to see and explore."
