Reviews Summary

Gorham Moose Tours offers a highly recommended wildlife experience with an impressive success rate for spotting moose, often in large numbers. Guides are frequently praised for their expertise, engaging storytelling, and dedication to ensuring sightings, even if it means extending the tour. While generally a great value, some visitors found the extended duration uncomfortable and noted minor issues with seating and visibility.

"Awesome experience, spotted 12 moose - male, multiple females and 2 calves. The guide knew exactly what spots to look for, appreciate his eye and experience! Improvisation - Starting a little late around dark (when the most spottings happen) and making it under 2-2.5 hours. I found sitting for 4.5-5 hours a bit uncomfortable."

"What a great evening. Gary is one of the most engaging tour guides ever. His ability to find us moose was second only to his storytelling.
We loved every moment of our tour. This is a must!"

Rob Sessions

"Overall a nice tour but fell below my expectations. Saw about 5 moose & 2 deer. Tour was from 7pm and returned at 11:30pm. Drove all the way up through Maine to the border of Canada and back. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Moose was spotted more distant than I expected & and for a split second. Difficult to take pictures. Also tour guide forgets to say “right or left” so hard to know which side to look. Not much space on bus to see the other side. Kids are charged full price despite falling asleep for mostly the entire ride. I feel there should be a somewhat reduced rate. Also assigned seating would be helpful. Our family was separated. The tour was overall good but left a lot to be desired."
