The comfortable rooms and attentive staff are frequently praised, though some note that common areas can be warm due to the historic nature of the building.

"Wow, beautiful building and incredible history. Room was nice, they gave us the room with the balcony which was beautiful looking into the courtyard. I really enjoyed all the historical items on the hotel. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Would certainly recommend this hotel as the one place to stay in Glenwood springs."

Ethan Bennett

"Loved our stay at this hotel! Great spot to be while in Glenwood. It was easy to get to and had easy access to great shopping, food and of course the pool. So much history in this old hotel, spent our first few hours just walking each floor and taking it all in. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, just be prepared for the water to take a few minutes to get warm. Only disappointment was that we didn't see any ghosts."

"Hotel Colorado is where luxury meets nature, wrapped in rich history. Known for hosting past President Theodore Roosevelt and the legendary “Unsinkable” Molly Brown, this hotel truly feels like stepping into a timeless story. The location couldn’t be better, right in the center of all the best hot springs, surrounded by a variety of restaurants, with two right inside the hotel and a gorgeous courtyard. From the moment you step inside, the charm of the place is undeniable.

We stayed on the fourth floor, and walking up the grand staircase while passing other guests gave the hotel a wonderful sense of community. On the fourth floor you’ll find refurbished fireplaces framed with exposed original brick absolutely jaw-dropping details that remind you of the building’s history.

The views from the rooms go on for days, making it easy to soak in the beauty of Glenwood Springs. From room service to accommodations to the incredibly attentive staff, everything about our stay felt thoughtful and well cared for. Ask about the desserts we kicked out and had the peach creme brulee and key lime pie! If you’re looking to experience historical beauty while still enjoying modern comforts, Hotel Colorado is a must-stay. It’s not just a hotel - it’s part of Glenwood Springs’ story, and staying here lets you live it."
