Elsie was diagnosed at 21 months old, these are just some of the traits we noticed.. some of these all children do, it does depend on how often and how many.. please dont assume im saying every child who does only a few of these are on the spectrum, it does NOT work like that. #fyp #elsiesASDjourney #autismawareness

Reviews Summary

Visitor experiences at the Elsie McCarthy Sensory Garden are mixed. While many appreciate its potential as a peaceful, sensory-rich retreat, some recent reviews highlight concerns about its upkeep, noting issues like graffiti and an unkempt appearance. Despite these inconsistencies, those who find it well-maintained praise its serene atmosphere and therapeutic qualities.

"Very disappointing to see this place in the condition it is in. It seems as though it's been forgotten which is too bad being it was once such a beautiful place. The surrounding park area I wouldn't let my children on just because the unhoused use it for one can only imagine."

Amber S

"Beautiful park with racketball , tennis , basketball courts. Decent open areas and amazing walk ways, not the largest park but well kept. Glendale fire station is connected out front. This is one of my new favorite parks in this area. If you looking for a safe well kept place I highly recommend. I enjoyed walking it at night when it’s not super hot."

S J

"This was the worst park to take your child/children to. There were graffiti written all over the play area. No rest room for for the children. It was nothing like the pictures that was shown. Never going back!! 0 out of 5"
