"We weren’t able to get a pass to get into Sand Harbor. We really just wanted to look at the lake and have a little access to the beach. This spot fit the bill perfectly. We got there about midday and there were still parking places to get in. We used our all access pass to get in. There is someone watching the entrance to be sure there’s room and to check your pass or you pay the fee. They have a small beach access area, which was nice to dunk your feet in. And you could go out and swim if you’d like. And it was cool to see the caverock although more access to it would have been cool. We did not do the trail to the top. Several picnic tables (not covered unfortunately) and benches along the walking path. From one to the other. The boat ramp is at one end in the beach at the other. Only probably about 15 car space is total and the same for boats with trailers. Restrooms and a place to rinse your feet outside of them."

"Nice small beach. Small parking as well it gets full easily. The water was clean as well as the beach. No dogs allowed. There are restrooms on the parking lot. Parking 10 $. Pay at the station, don't pay with the valet they will ask you for more then 10$"

If you have a camera, make sure to bring it the scenery is absolutely stunning.
