"This was our 4th time visiting and staying at the Belhurst. We always have a great experience. It is close to local wineries and not a far drive from downtown Geneva so it's always fun to explore the area and find something new to try. The hotel is clean and beautiful with a very romantic and historical charm, especially in the castle part. The views of the lake from the rooms we have stayed in both in the castle and the Vinefera are breathtaking especially of the sunrise over the lake. We have eaten in the past at Edgar's and have enjoyed our meal, but this past visit decided to eat at Stonecutters and try a local restaurant in Geneva instead. Both Stonecutters and the restaurant had delicious food. We received a complimentary wine tasting as part of staying at the Belhurst so enjoyed that experience very much. The staff in the wine/gift shop was very nice and provided a lot of information on each wine during our tasting.
Unfortunately, sleep was an issue this past visit. The mattress is very unsupportive and uncomfortable and neighboring guests kept trying to cast their devices to our television (thinking it was their television in their room) so our TV kept turning on randomly in the middle of the night waking us up. We would recommend replacing the mattresses and perhaps noting the name of the TV for guests visibly in each room so they can cast to the correct TV if they want to do that. Also, there is no microwave in the room so if you have leftovers from dinner, you cannot reheat them.
Overall, we do recommend visiting/staying at the Belhurst and we look forward to another visit soon!"

"I found the White Springs Manor on the Internet, loved what I saw on the website, and I booked a room. All of my expectations were more than fulfilled. White Springs was a restful, graceful, peaceful setting where I could wind down from the previous part of my trip and rest up for the next part. The view over the vineyard down to the lake was serene and restorative. The room was beautifully appointed. I slept wonderfully! One of my nicest hotel stays ever.
I had such a good time that I went a little out of my way to stay at White Springs again on my way back home. Though I booked a different room, it was also beautifully appointed. And having seen two guest rooms, I got an idea of how the owners had tastefully and creatively adapted the manor to serve as a hotel. Once again being out on a beautiful grounds with a view of the lake in the distance was very peaceful. I slept wonderfully again!
I will certainly plan to stay at the White Springs Manor whenever my travels bring me through that area."
