"The Aquatorim in Gary is a historic, landmark building which was an old school bath house. It’s currently used for special events but accessible by the public. The sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes are really a beautiful sight. The history of aviation actually began here with the Wright Brothers mentor, who flew a glider off a nearby dune. A statue and replica glider serve as a reminder of the great inventor Gustave. Stop by if you’re in the neighborhood for a slice of history."

"I always love visiting the Aquatorium. Its cool that they have the marker showing Marquette Park is the southernmost point of Lake Michigan. A lot of history at Marquette Park. Anyone that hasnt heard of Octave Chanute and his glider experiments may want to check it out. They take good care of the area and its upkeep. The only thing I'd recommend is it really needs more parking. It would be cool if they added more to the park also. Maybe a basketball court, tetherball, etc."

"Worth a visit to this place if in the area! When I visited it was very peaceful, barely any people around, and there is a beach right next door for some Lake Michigan views. The P-51 Mustang aircraft replica was beautiful to go along with the wonderful Tuskegee dedicated plaque and statue."
