"I like the mission of the Galveston Arts Center and its exhibits feature local artists from around the Texas Gulf Coast region. They host the Galveston Art Walk from March to October annually and organize a lot of educational events for kids and adults at the arts center as well as in the community. Whenever a new exhibit launches, the artist would present a talk about their work and art pieces. There is a main exhibition hall on the first floor and a wine vendor, Florino, in the left corner. There are stairs on the left or in the back of the building that will take you to the second floor where there are two smaller exhibition spaces and a classroom. Admission is free and donations are welcome. I volunteer at the arts center from time to time and I love it! This building also has an interesting history, so it's a plus for anyone who might be interested in Galveston's history."
