What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Frazier Park is a beloved mountain escape, especially for its accessible snow play during winter months. Visitors praise its beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and stunning sunsets year-round. While some note issues with dog waste and animal holes on trails, the overall experience is highly positive, offering a refreshing natural retreat close to the city.
"This is such a pretty little park right near the Frazier Park downtown. It’s pretty much the closest place you can go to see snow if you’re living in the San Fernando Valley! We just came earlier today and luck would have it, it started snowing right as we got there. It was raining all the way up the interstate, but the moment we got to Frazier Park, the rain turned to snow! It is so pretty when the snow just starts falling and you slowly watch everything turn from green/brown to a light covering of white.
My fiancée told me she used to come here as a kid with her family to go sledding when there was more snow. If you have a good snow day, this would be a great place to come with family to just enjoy the snow and outdoors. Maybe even bring your dog here or go on a little walk with your friends as we saw other people doing. It’s a hidden gem north of LA!
Secret tip: head over to Nature’s Home Market on the east side of town after you visit the park. They have lots of organic groceries, good coffee, fresh fruits/vegetables and sometimes even fresh-baked sourdough bread and persimmon bread! 😁"

"Beautiful place to spend an afternoon, even in late June. The breeze keeps it cool and there's plenty of shade, you can see birds, and the trees are gorgeous. Currently no water in the pond but the mountain views are still lovely."
