"Took Trail of Tears bus tour in Sept. During the Cherokee 25th Symposium. This was our first stop. The Eastern Cherokees were not recognized until 1990's!
What little land they own must cost a lot to keep up. We have to respect their heritage and life to understand our past history of America. The American Indians are our heritage and must be perserved."
