"Excellent place to fishing!"

"I started swimming and fishing this lake as a child in the 1950’s, before the reports of heavy metal pollution. My whole family swam in it and tho the water was tea colored as far as I know no health problems resulted. I caught bluegills, white perch, & bass. The prized fish back then was pickerel. I ate a few fish as a teenager, they appeared very healthy & were very good tasting. We didn’t go there in winter because it was horribly cold and windy on the ice."
