What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the absolutely stunning panoramic views from Woodstock Tower, calling them breathtaking and worth the journey. The short, scenic hike is also a plus. However, many caution about the rough, unpaved roads leading to the tower and the potential presence of hornets, which can be a significant concern for some.
"I would like to say firstly that the views from the tower are amazing. The trail is short but sweet with nice scenery. However the tower was full of hornets. There was a nest in or on the roof that was very much active when I went. And the road coming up from the woodstock side is bumby but it also has a lot of potholes. The other side heading down away from woodstock is a way better road. I would like to go back and give this place a better review but it was dangerous for me since I am allergic to them"

"I just visited today at 8:30am / 08-13-2025 first time since moving here in Woodstock Virginia. I loved it and the Woodstock Towers reminded me of being at the Effile Tower in Paris, France. Breath taking views all around everywhere. You must go visit ASAP. However, the roads to W.T. are very ruff/graveled. Not recommended to drive a Mini Cooper 😁 Drive Up Slow 🐌"
