Reviews Summary
Guests rave about The Armstrong Hotel's prime Old Town location and its unique, stylish decor that blends vintage charm with modern flair. The on-site speakeasy, Ace Gillette's, is a standout for its cocktails. However, some visitors note that rooms can be compact and noise from the historic building might be an issue for light sleepers, though the hotel provides earplugs.
"The best boutique hotel in Fort Collins! Such a beautiful iconic hotel with all the right stuff! The kindest most attentive manager, I believe her name is Rosie. She's special and made our experience so wonderful! Such cute rooms with a Nespresso, robes and right in old town, perfect!! Plus they have a cool speakeasy on the bottom level, Ace Gillette's, amazing high end beautifully done cocktails & nice menu!"

"We stayed at this hotel for a week last summer and were so impressed by the decor. The lobby especially is fantastic—stylish, cozy, and original, with a touch of the 1920s that feels classic and not at all shabby. It was a great first impression.
However, the room itself and the housekeeping were a bit of a letdown. For a week-long stay, the housekeeping was the bare minimum and we even had to ask once for our room to be cleaned. When we did, the front desk staff didn't seem too pleased with us.
We were lucky to get a quiet room at the back, but it was more of a view of the side of a building rather than anything scenic. While the room was stylish and well decorated, it was also tight. There was hardly any space for our luggage, and we had to squeeze past the bed.
Overall, the hotel has a lot of charm and great style, but the room size and lack of proactive housekeeping weren't ideal for a longer visit."

"Stayed for one night to go to a show at Washingtons nearby. The location is ideal if you want to spend time in Old Town Fort Collins. The room was good-sized, if awkwardly shaped. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and they provide both a sound machine and earplugs. My room location was pretty quiet but it is an old building so I imagine that noise does travel. Reception was friendly and helpful. I was also pleased that they offered a discount for Colorado residents. Free overnight street parking is a couple of blocks away, but wasn't hard to find. Would definitely stay again!"
