What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bluebell Beach is a popular spot, especially for families, thanks to its playground and splash pad. Visitors appreciate the clean beach and ample parking. However, some note the presence of algae in the water and occasional issues with dog waste, suggesting water shoes and awareness are beneficial.
"The beach was really packed but it was a very hot day. Didn't like the algae in the water, I'd recommend water shoes. LOTS of seagulls (see video lol). But overall the kids enjoyed it and we made it work. I didn't know they also had a splash park here, added bonus and my kids also really liked the playground. I feel like everything could use a bit of an update. Many nests along the roof of the restroom building, little scary (see photo)."

"Bluebell is a beautiful spot and the Parks community have really made it family friendly. BUT I was out there with small kids and couldn't believe all the sand was covered in dog poop. Everywhere and I had to cut that short because who is going to tolerate that Filth..
Don't you have cameras to see who is letting their pets do this. Signs need to go up and no dogs allowed. I am posting so you can see its everywhere. Not to sure about the water as very small kids were in it.but that's on the parents.
That is the inky thing negative otherwise a lovely place to take the kids ."
