No dogs are allowed in the beach and picnic area. There are bathrooms and showers. There is a GREAT swimming area. This truly is a wonderful beach at Peninsula State Park. "One of the nicest beaches in the state. Shallow, gentle slope sandals entry and warm, relatively speaking. There are kayak, SUP, and water bike rentals here too"

"Sorry, I don't understand why this beach is so highly recommend... I mean it's nice. Bathrooms and changing rooms. Shops for swimwear, etc.
Parking is very limited . There's a food truck for light fare. Recommend. Really seems to be more catering to all the campgrounds folks🤷."
