Some visitors note that it can get busy on weekends and during peak seasons.

"We took a day trip over to Fernandina to visit the historic district and Fort Clinch. The historic district of full of shops, boutiques, restaurants, delis, and things to see. We went on a Friday; I suspect it is much, much busier on the weekends and during the spring and summer months. We had a wonderful time and are already planning a return trip."

"I absolutely enjoyed my time at Fernandina Beach Historic District. It was not a long walk from the Main Beach hotel area. About 30 minutes. The walk was beautiful as I passed by beautiful homes and local parks. I had many God Encounters while walking around the Historic District as the locals were so kind, warm, and friendly. Definitely visit Trailer Park! If you like antiques and collectibles, you will find great items there. Ron and Julie are so awesome! They are the owners and we talked for about 30-45 minutes...after closing!!! Definitely a sweet encounter by God."
