"This is the most beautiful, peaceful camp ground we had stayed in a while. The lake it’s absolutely gorgeous and magical. It’s green water takes your breath away. They have a little beach area that is super fun and spacious. They have a great high jump area that is totally safe and just for jumping or diving so you get to really let go and have fun. The kayak ride it’s stunning and truly unique. Definitely a must try and it’s not expensive at all, it’s $40 per 2 hours not bad at all. The walk around the lake it’s a must too. It’s not too long and full of fun and beautiful breath taking spots to rest. We definitely recommend visiting green lakes state park. We don’t have kids but it’s kids friendly and there were lots of kids they were having so much fun. The only thing we didn’t love was that on the morning of us leaving the park staff came at 9:30 am to do the landscape and to cut the grass and the machines were very loud and took away our peace. I think they could have done that after 11 am which is check out time but other then that it’s definitely a magical place to visit with your partner or family ☀️❤️"

"Green Lakes was impeccably maintained, the trails were beautiful and facilities were amazing compared to many other parks i have been to. Everything seemed very new and upbeat.
Excellent spot for a run, the water is so beautiful in color. There was a swimming beach that was getting "groomed" flat early in the morning. Definitely a spot to hang out with the family. Nearby kids playgrounds looked very nice and new. Plenty of activities for a family or small group"

"We spent the first three days of our trip at Green Lakes State Park and had a wonderful time. The blue-green water is absolutely stunning and makes for a beautiful backdrop whether you’re walking, biking, or just relaxing by the shore. We enjoyed exploring the hiking and biking trails with our dog, and even rented kayaks to get out on the lake — such a peaceful way to take in the scenery.
The campground was well-kept, and it was the perfect spot to kick off our trip. We’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a mix of outdoor activities and incredible views."

Because of this delicate ecosystem, no outside boats, kayaks, or canoes are permitted to prevent the introduction of invasive species or disruption of the water layers. Visitors must rent equipment from the park to enjoy time on the water.
