"Utilized NARM membership for free admission. Was nice to get a tour of the mansion and hear the history of the house. Unfortunately, there were renovations going on so my tour group was not able to explore the whole house. Lots of Lizzie Borden memorabilia. Will go back around Christmas time to see the trees 🎄"

Kelli S.

"This is such a beautiful building with amazing gift shop. There is so much history in this town, and the people here are happy to share about how this area was a textile boomtown from 1865-1923 benefiting from the southern US cotton production. There are also many absolutely gorgeous old, preserved homes and buildings in this town. Well worth a diversion to visit if you happen to be driving by!"
