"I have been going to church all my life mostly Catholic but changed to other churches as I moved around MD and VA. A few years back they tore down the church that I was attending while at the same time I was going through multiple surgeries and a lot of difficulties in my life. Last fall I went out walking one late afternoon feeling lost and alone when I happened to come upon the open doors of Truro church and felt drawn to enter, I was welcomed by the wife of one of the pastors, she prayed with me and that’s when I realized I needed that void filled with the Lord and found the perfect church to fill it. Now I look forward to every Sunday of worship and all the other events. It is truly a special church filled with love, hope and peace."
